EPC practice questions - frequently asked questions

Plain answers about how EPC Exam Prep works: the exam, the questions, pricing, the free trial, and what you actually get.

No - and you should be wary of any site claiming otherwise. Every question here is original, written to mirror the style, difficulty, and judgment the real EPC exam tests. Each one comes with a plain-language explanation of why the right answer is right and the others aren't.

The EPC exam spans 8 domains: Exercise physiology (cardiorespiratory/training) (36% of the exam); Cardiac rehabilitation (including ECGs/GXTs/HFAs) (18.5% of the exam); Exercise metabolism and regulation (11.5% of the exam); Kinesiology (including neuromuscular) (10.5% of the exam); Research (6.5% of the exam); Sports biomechanics (6% of the exam); Environmental exercise physiology (6% of the exam); Sports nutrition (5% of the exam). Every practice question on this site is tagged to one of these domains.

The domains are not weighted equally on the exam. By share of the marks: Exercise physiology (cardiorespiratory/training) 36%; Cardiac rehabilitation (including ECGs/GXTs/HFAs) 18.5%; Exercise metabolism and regulation 11.5%; Kinesiology (including neuromuscular) 10.5%; Research 6.5%; Sports biomechanics 6%; Environmental exercise physiology 6%; Sports nutrition 5%.

The EPC exam has 200 questions and is completed in 4 hours. Our timed practice mirrors that length and pacing, so exam day feels familiar.
